The LDSPMA Launch Party combines dinner, entertainment, fundraising, and community connection into one unforgettable evening designed to help attendees relax, laugh, connect, and celebrate together before the main conference begins.
Now included with your main conference registration for the first time, the Launch Party is open to all conference attendees at no additional cost.

- Dinner with fellow attendees and creators
- LDSPMA’s Got (Secret) Talent Show
- Live Auction
- Community entertainment and surprises throughout the evening
The Silent Auction will run throughout the conference weekend from Thursday, October 15 through Saturday, October 17.
LDSPMA’s Got (Secret) Talent Show
This isn’t your traditional talent show—we want the secret talents nobody sees coming.
Forget polished performances and serious showcase acts. We are looking for the hidden, hilarious, surprising, creative, and unforgettable talents within the LDSPMA community.
Looking for inspiration? Talents could include:
- Comedy sketches
- Musical parodies
- Magic tricks
- Audience participation games
- Unexpected musical performances
- Impersonations
- Creative inventions
- Party tricks and unusual skills
- Collaborative and group performances
Whether your talent is impressive, ridiculous, oddly specific, or completely unexpected—we want to see it.
Please note: While LDSPMA is a faith-centered organization, the Launch Party talent showcase is designed as a lighthearted entertainment event rather than a spiritual meeting. In keeping with Church variety show guidelines, we ask that performances not include scripture readings, devotional messages, or other religious presentations.
Conference Auctions
The Launch Party evening will also feature our Live Auction, while the Silent Auction will continue throughout the conference weekend.
Auction donations help support LDSPMA programming, student opportunities, future conferences, and our mission to encourage and uplift creators who strive to flood the world with light through publishing, media, and the arts.
The Silent Auction will run from Thursday, October 15 through Saturday, October 17, with the Live Auction taking place during the Launch Party Thursday evening.
Looking for ideas? Auction donations could include:
