Important: Who Vendor Tables Are For

Vendor tables are designed for businesses, organizations, and professionals offering products, services, tools, or resources that support creators and industry professionals.

Meet-the-Creators tables are designed specifically for authors, artists, musicians, filmmakers, and creators who want to showcase and sell their own creative work during our Saturday Meet-the-Creators event.

Not a Traditional Sales Floor

Our conference audience is made up primarily of creators and industry professionals—not general consumers.

Because of this, attendees are typically most interested in:

  • Educational resources
  • Creative tools
  • Professional services
  • Networking opportunities
  • Craft-focused products
  • Industry support

Traditional direct-to-consumer merchandise sales are often more limited than at public conventions or expos.

Creators primarily selling their own books, artwork, music, or merchandise are encouraged to participate in the Meet-the-Creators event.

Selling & Bookstore Information

This year, participants have two options for selling items during the conference:

Option 1: Sell Directly from Your Table

Vendors and Meet-the-Creators participants may sell directly from their own tables during approved event times.

All direct sellers are required to obtain a Utah Special Event Sales Tax License, even if they already hold a regular Utah sales tax license.

We will provide guidance and instructions to help participants complete this process.

Option 2: Sell Through the LDSPMA Bookstore

Participants may also choose to sell items through the LDSPMA Bookstore.

With this option:

  • No special event tax license is required
  • Participants provide their own inventory
  • Items may be shipped in advance or delivered onsite
  • LDSPMA will process all bookstore sales
  • LDSPMA retains 10% of sold items to help cover processing fees and staffing costs

LDSPMA does not purchase inventory from participants.
