As a registrant for the 2024 Conference of Latter-Day Saints in Publishing, Media, and the Arts (“LDSPMA”) to be held on August 22–October 25 both virtually and at Utah Valley University (“Conference”), I hereby grant LDSPMA the right to take pictures (including video) that include my likeness (“Photographs”) for use, publication, reproduction, editing, exhibition, licensing, or distribution in any and all of its publications, including but not limited to all LDSPMA’s printed and digital publications. This grant includes the right for LDSPMA to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish or distribute the Photographs for purposes of publicizing LDSPMA’s programs or any other related, lawful purpose.
I hereby assign to LDSPMA all interest in the Photographs, including copyright. The Photographs, including any associated copies or negatives, are the sole property of LDSPMA, and I waive any right to (i) inspect or approve the Photographs; (ii) inspect or approve any text, graphics, images, or other content created in connection with or combined with the Photographs; or (iii) receive any royalties or other compensation related to the Photographs.
I hereby release LDSPMA from any liability associated with the Photographs, including that based on copyright infringement, invasion of privacy, right of publicity, libel, defamation, or false light, or resulting from any alteration, blurring, optical illusion, use in composite form, distortion, or other modification that may occur, intentionally or otherwise.
I represent that I am a legal adult with the full legal capacity to execute this release and that if I am a minor my guardian has signed on my behalf below; that the rights granted under this release do not conflict with or violate any other commitment; and that I have read this release before signing it and fully understand its contents, meaning, and impact.
