Empowering Latter-day Saints to spread light and truth by connecting them at the intersection of faith, creativity, and professional skill
Course Overview: This course transforms indie authors from book writers into book sellers by focusing on market-readiness and marketing tactics like creating ads. Students will learn that successful marketing isn’t “buy my book” but rather “how can I serve my readers’ needs?” We’ll cover the essential truth that marketing begins with writing the right book for the right audience, then conclude with hands-on Facebook and Amazon ad building instruction.
Victorine self-published her first book, Not What She Seems, in April of 2010. In March of 2011, Not What She Seems began its 6-week run on The New York Times best-selling eBook list. By May 2011 she had sold over 100,000 copies. Victorine’s first romantic comedy novel hit the USA Today Bestselling books list in January 2015. When she’s not writing, she’s watching swoony Korean Dramas, or making something with her extensive yarn collection.

How Does the Course Work?
This master class is designed to help you get your book or series ready for marketing and for ads.
As ads are expensive, some authors may choose to not start ads until they have more books out,
but we will learn how to start up those ads when you’re ready.
Each week we will have a pre-recorded class with homework assignments that you complete on
your own, and then a Saturday class where we will discuss the lesson and give individual
attention to each student and their books. The Saturday classes will be recorded, but I highly
suggest you attend when you can so I can give my thoughts on your individual situation.
The classes will be available on Monday to give students the week to watch it and hopefully
come to our Saturday classes prepared for individual assessment and help implementing the
homework. Some assignments may take some time, so watching the classes early in the week is
preferred.
This course meets on Saturdays from 10AM to Noon (Mountain Time).
