Come put your shoulder to the wheel! We are constantly looking for new volunteers to help run our programs and advance our mission. Open positions range from board-level directorships, to mid-level manager positions, to low-level committee and team member roles.
Note: This page is for year-round volunteer positions. To volunteer specifically for the conference on October 17–19, 2024, see our conference volunteer page.
Why should I volunteer?
- Build relationships with totally awesome industry leaders, professionals, and peers
- Gain practical skills and leadership experience
- Help advance LDSPMA’s mission of empowering Latter-day Saints to be voices of light in publishing, media, and the arts
- Give back to the Latter-day Saint community
- Receive free or reduced registration for LDSPMA events, including the annual fall conference.
How long would I be a volunteer?
We expect volunteers to serve through the conclusion of our October 2024 conference. If you want to stay on for another year after that, great!
All our work is remote except for the annual conference in Utah.

“I went to the founding meeting of LDSPMA back when I was a student, and the brainstorming and collaboration that occurred there was really promising. I felt like I was a part of something. That feeling has continued, but I stayed mostly because of the people. The board members are amazing, and the organization is so small that there are tons of opportunities for interaction and communication with seasoned professionals. There’s also the vision and values of LDSPMA. There isn’t any other organization I know of that is trying to bring together Latter-day Saint professionals in such an uplifting training and collaboration ground.”
