2025 LDSPMA Praiseworthy & Spark Award Nominations Nomination TypeContact InformationNomination InformationSubmissionConfirm This form is for nominations for either the 2025 Praiseworthy Awards OR the 2025 Spark Awards (formerly LDSPMA Emerging Author Awards). For Lifetime Achievement Award submissions, click here. Please review the qualifications for the Praiseworthy Awards and Spark Awards thoroughly to determine WHICH type of award you are nominating for. **Submissions will only be considered for ONE type of award – Please do NOT submit the same work twice for both award types (PICK ONE)** If you are an “emerging creator” (e.g. have earned less than $500 from your work, are not traditionally published, are not represented by an agent/producer, have had less than 15,000 views or streams, etc.) and have not previously won a Spark Award, we encourage you to submit for a Spark Award. If that does not describe you, please submit for the Praiseworthy Awards (non-“emerging creators” nominated for the Spark Awards will be disqualified). Generally a specific creator may only be awarded one Spark Award, but creators may be awarded Praiseworthy Awards multiple years. We are looking for submissions that are consistent with the standards described in Article of Faith 13. Please do not submit content that is excessively violent, sexually explicit, or that glorifies practices contrary to the standards taught by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. If you have any questions about specific content in your submission, please feel free to contact us at awards@ldspma.org. Again, please review the complete qualifications and requirements for each type of award here (Praiseworthy and Spark) before submitting. Submissions that do not meet the qualifications will be disqualified. Nomination Type *2025 Praiseworthy Award2025 Spark AwardYou may only submit a certain work/creator for either the Praiseworthy OR Spark Awards for a given year. If you submit the same work to both, your submission will only be considered for one, TBD by the recognition committee. Please make everyone’s lives easier by only submitting to one award type. You have chosen to nominate a work for the 2025 Praiseworthy Awards. Praiseworthy Awards are for WORKS produced in the previous calendar year (January 1, 2024 – December 31, 2024) that are consistent with the standards in Article of Faith 13. Praiseworthy awards can be won multiple years by the same creator and by creators with any level of experience. (If the creator of a work is an “emerging creator” (e.g. has earned less than $500 from their work, is not traditionally published, is not represented by an agent/producer, has had less than 15,000 views or streams, etc.) consider nominating for Spark Award instead.) Multiple works by the same creator can be nominated for the Praiseworthy Awards (please create a separate Praiseworthy Award submission for each work you are nominating), however “principal creators” may only win one Praiseworthy Award per industry (Publishing, Media, or Arts) per year. Principal creators can win multiple Praiseworthy awards in different industries (Publishing, Media, or Arts) in the same year. The LDSPMA Awards Team reverses the right to make all final decisions on any judging ambiguities or eligibility questions. For complete details on eligibility, please see Praiseworthy Award Eligibility. For additional questions, feel free to email us at awards@ldspma.org. You have chosen to nominate a creator for the 2025 Spark Awards. Spark Awards are for “emerging creators” (e.g. PEOPLE who have earned less than $500 from their work, are not traditionally published, are not represented by an agent/producer, have had less than 15,000 views or streams, etc.) who have produced or revised a work during the previous calendar year (January 1, 2024 – December 31, 2024) that is consistent with the standards in Article of Faith 13. Spark Awards can generally NOT be won multiple times by the same creator. Although the award is judged based on a specific creative work, the award is to the creator as an “emerging creator”, not for the specific work (i.e. the award is to a person, not to a specific work). Please ONLY submit nominations for Spark Awards for those who are “emerging creators” as described above and have not won a Spark Award previously. (If this does not describe the creator whose work you are nominating, please nominate for a Praiseworthy Award instead.) For complete details on eligibility, please see Spark Award Eligibility. For additional questions, feel free to email us at awards@ldspma.org. 2025 Praiseworthy Award Nomination2025 Spark Award NominationNominator’s InformationNominator’s First Name *Nominator’s Last Name *Nominator’s Email Address *Join LDSPMA mailing list?
