As the name of our organization suggests, LDSPMA is a resource for Latter-day Saints who are actively involved in publishing, media, and the arts. This broad scope includes all aspects of writing, theater, painting, dance, and journalism both in print and online. One of the resources we offer is a collection of articles on these topics that can be found on our website.
What Makes a Good Article for LDSPMA?
In order for this collection to be truly comprehensive, we are constantly looking for new content created by experts in the industry. These experts don’t need to carry a doctorate or a certain certification in their field, but they should demonstrate working knowledge of the topic they are presenting and have the ability to teach concepts and principles through the written word.
An ideal article will be within 800-1200 words and will present a clear message with a how-to approach to some of the challenges or opportunities we face as creatives. This message should be broken down into steps the reader can take in their own endeavors, and it should be positive and encouraging. While these articles aren’t based on topics specific to our religion, they should uphold and sustain the principles of the gospel and the policies of the Church.
We have a strict anti-plagiarism/no AI policy. Our aim is to make a human connection with our members by sharing personal experiences, and we seek for quality rather than quantity.

If you have an idea for an article you would like to share with us, you are invited to submit either the completed article or a query at articles@ldspma.org. Contributors receive full credit for their article, including a bio and headshot, and may link to their website or pertinent social media accounts.
