LDSPMA Theme Contests
Instruments in God’s Hands
The LDSPMA Theme Contests celebrate creativity across publishing, media, and the arts. Creators of all ages are invited to submit original work inspired by faith, creativity, and purpose.
Winners will be recognized at the LDSPMA 2026 Annual Conference.

Contest Categories
• Short-Form Poetry
• Songwriting
• Short-Film (Micro-Film, 60 seconds max)
• Hand-Designed Art
• Digital Art
Submission Guidelines
• No entry fee
• One entry per person, per category
• All submissions must be original work
• Songwriting entries must include original lyrics and original music
• Judging will be conducted by a volunteer professional judging team
Awards
Each category includes three awards:
• NextGen Winner (Youth up to age 19) – $100
• Adult / General Winner – $100
• All-Around Winner – $150
Important Dates
• Submissions open: May 1
• Winners announced at the LDSPMA 2026 Annual Conference
