2026 LDSPMA Anthology Submissions

About the Anthology

The 2026 LDSPMA Anthology, Instruments in God’s Hands, is a collection of faith-centered creative works exploring how God works through individuals in meaningful and personal ways.

This anthology invites writers to reflect on what it means to be an instrument in God’s hands—through experiences, emotions, questions, growth, and moments that have shaped their faith and perspective.

Whether through story, reflection, or imagination, we are looking for pieces that express what this theme means to you.

What We’re Looking For

We are accepting original written works that reflect the theme Instruments in God’s Hands in a clear and meaningful way.

Accepted submission types include:

  • Personal essays (nonfiction)
  • Short stories (fiction)
  • Poetry

Your submission does not need to follow a specific format or interpretation. We welcome a wide range of perspectives—whether your piece is rooted in personal experience, inspired storytelling, or thoughtful reflection.

The most important element is a strong and sincere connection to the theme.

Submission Guidelines

Please review the following guidelines before submitting:

  • Maximum length: 1,200 words
  • Language: English
  • One submission per person
  • Submissions must be original and unpublished
    • You may write about experiences or ideas you have shared elsewhere, but the submitted piece itself must be new
  • File formats: Word document, PDF, etc.
  • AI-generated or AI-assisted submissions are not permitted

Not all submissions will be accepted. Selections will be based on quality, clarity, and alignment with the theme.

Rights & Contributor Information

If your submission is selected for publication:

  • You will receive a free copy of the anthology
  • Your name will be credited within the book

All contributors retain full copyright of their work.

By submitting, you agree that if selected:

  • LDSPMA will have exclusive publication rights for the first 6 months
  • After that period, LDSPMA may continue to use the work in future LDSPMA-related projects (non-exclusive use)
  • After 12 months, you are free to publish your work elsewhere

All royalties from the anthology will support LDSPMA’s mission to provide education, opportunities, and professional development for creators of faith.
